Bible Connection: Faith

The Bible tells us frequently that faith is an action word. James states that faith without activity is a dead faith (2:26). To draw on a common phrase, faith is putting your money where your mouth is. Anyone can say that they have faith in God. That faith is worthless, dead, if it is not acted upon. We believe in God, but how do we act? Do we truly believe He is there if we do not listen to His word and obey it? Do we truly believe if we ignore direct statements in the Bible and merely do what we want?

As you go through your day we hope you will take some time to think about God. Think about what He means to you and what you are willing to do in response. Thank about what you can do to show your faith in Him.
